SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER

Description

A leading organization is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Precious Metals Supply Chain Officers who manage the end-to-end supply chain of gold-bearing materials ensuring full compliance with International Best Practice. The duties includes and accountabilities: Draft policies, procedures and manual on supply chain/responsible sourcing compliance. Conduct supply chain reviews and support in the implementation of the organization’s Responsible Sourcing Policy. Develop training programs on supply chain and responsible sourcing and engage in training and capacity building of the organisation's employees and suppliers. Verify supplier documentation, licenses, beneficial ownership information, and production capacity. Monitor supplier compliance with the requirements of international best practice, document and report findings. Conduct supply chain mapping. Monitoring and documentation of consignments. Logistical and security coordination of precious metals. Identification, assessment, and rating of supply chain risks. Development of risk control plans and risk management strategies. Documentation and reporting.
