Description

Reporting to the Project Management Team, the SHE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Safety, Health and Environmental policies at the company's construction project sites. The incumbent will ensure compliance with all applicable safety legislation, industry standards, and company procedures while promoting a proactive safety culture among employees, contractors, and subcontractors. To perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Natural Sciences, Environmental Science, or related field. Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management (OSHEMAC) Fire Fighting course. First Aid Certificate will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects. Sound knowledge of Zimbabwean occupational safety, environmental, and labour legislation. Experience managing SHE compliance on construction sites. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence will be an added advantage. Effective communication skills.
