Description

Crown College is a high school located in the heart of Norton and is a day and boarding school catering for both boys and girls. Due to expansion, applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Laboratory Technician to join our team for Term 2, 2026. The Laboratory Technician will support the Science Department in delivering practical excellence in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. He/She will ensure labs are safe, well-resourced, and ready to inspire scientific inquiry.

Requirements

Qualifications: At least Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Applied Sciences, or equivalent from a recognized institution. Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in a school or industrial laboratory. Experience with Cambridge practicals is an added advantage. Skills: Knowledge of lab safety, chemical handling, basic ICT skills for inventory. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Attributes: High integrity, attention to detail, proactive, and able to support Christian ethos of the College.
