HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Description

A leading poultry production and processing company with a workforce of approximately 500 employees is looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Human Resources Manager to lead its Human Resources function. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Providing strategic and operational leadership of the HR function. Advising management on employment, labour relations and HR matters. Managing employee relations, disciplinary and grievance processes. Ensuring compliance with applicable employment legislation and company policies. Managing recruitment, workforce planning, employee retention and succession planning. Developing and implementing effective performance management systems. Overseeing training, development and employee engagement initiatives. Monitoring absenteeism, staff turnover, productivity and other workforce indicators. Working closely with Production and Operations Management to ensure appropriate staffing for shift-based operations. Leading and developing the HR team and providing regular HR reports to Senior Management.
