HEAVY PLANT MECHANIC

Minimum of 8 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience. Minimum of Form 5 equivalent secondary education. NCC equivalent Trade Test Certificate/Diploma. At least 4 years' post-apprenticeship experience working on Bell heavy plant earthmoving machines. Experience rebuilding Bell Low Profile ADTs will be an added advantage. Extensive experience with Liebherr earthmoving machinery and mining shovels, including R9350, R9150 and R9250 models. Training certificates on Liebherr machines are an advantage. Knowledge of Bell Equipment, John Deere, Mercedes, Deutz, Allison, ZF parts, engines and transmissions is an added advantage. Valid, unendorsed Class B driver's licence. No criminal record and sober habits are essential.
