Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above-mentioned vacancies that have arisen within the Municipality of Chegutu. ELECTRICIAN ×2 Reporting to the Head Electrician Duties and Responsibilities 2.1 Key Result Areas * Assist in producing specifications and designs of new public lighting, traffic signals and municipal electrical infrastructure and modifications. * Assist in designing, selecting and installing electrical plant and equipment such as power transformers, power generators, motors and motor control centres, refrigeration units and air-conditioners, building lighting, heating and ventilation systems. * Assist in designing and installing new public lighting schemes. * Assist in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances and apparatus. * Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications. * Order electrical supplies and equipment. * Repair electrical faults at all municipal installations. * Supervise subordinate employees. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
