Assistant Accountant

Description

C& Z Investments is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. Process and record financial transactions accurately and efficiently.Prepare and maintain bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Maintain the general ledger and accounting records. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Assist with payroll preparation and statutory remittances. Prepare VAT, PAYE, NSSA, and other statutory schedules. Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records. Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis. Assist with internal and external audit processes. Perform any other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
