Description
Bak Logistics is seeking a results-driven Transport Operations Controller to manage our internal transport fleet and third-party hauliers and to run distribution for our new clients, so that every load moves safely, on time and at the lowest cost per kilometre. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the Drivers and Fleet Supervisor.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain or a related field. 5+ years’ experience in fleet, transport or distribution management, preferably road freight. Proven experience managing drivers, third-party hauliers and multi-client distribution. Strong working knowledge of route planning, fleet tracking systems, road transport regulations, customs documentation and cross-border permits. Strong cost control, analytical and reporting skills. Strong communication and client management skills to onboard new distribution clients.
