Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, and results-driven professionals to fill the position of Fuel Administrator. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient fuel administration, accurate inventory management, and robust fuel control across the organisation's operations. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: • Administering and monitoring fuel operations across all company sites and fuel storage facilities. • Capturing and verifying all fuel receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments within the ERP system. • Reconciling daily fuel issues against vehicle, plant, and equipment usage records. • Monitoring fuel stock levels across all sites and coordinating timely replenishment. • Maintaining accurate records of fuel consumption for vehicles, plant, and machinery. • Investigating fuel variances, losses, and discrepancies, and preparing exception reports. • Generating daily, weekly, and monthly fuel consumption and stock reports for management. • Monitoring fuel tank balances and conducting periodic reconciliations and physical stock counts. • Coordinating fuel deliveries and verifying quantities received against supplier documentation. • Ensuring compliance with fuel control procedures, company policies, and internal audit requirements. • Maintaining accurate records of fuel cards, bowsers, fuel pumps, and dispensing equipment. • Recommending improvements to fuel management systems, reporting processes, and internal controls.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess: • A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Transport Management, or a related field. • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in fuel administration, fleet administration, inventory control, logistics, or a similar role. • Proven experience managing fuel operations across multiple sites or business units will be a distinct advantage. • Practical experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for inventory, fuel, or fleet management (mandatory). • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. • Excellent analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
