Description

A reputable construction company is looking for a skilled and experienced Small Construction Tools Mechanic/Technician to join its team. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of small construction tools and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective repairs. • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition. • Ensure tools and equipment meet operational and safety requirements. • Provide technical support to operational teams on equipment operation and maintenance requirements.

Requirements

Minimum qualification of Class 2 Journeyman Certificate (Motor Mechanic) or equivalent. • At least 3 years' hands-on experience maintaining and repairing small construction equipment within a construction or mining environment. • Proven experience working with small construction tools and equipment, including: • Generators • Pedestrian rollers • Jumping jacks/rammers • Small concrete mixers • Plate compactors • Other small construction equipment and power tools • Strong fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
