Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Howo Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in the servicing, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Howo Trucks and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Howo Trucks. • Diagnose mechanical faults and identify appropriate repair solutions. • Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and other truck components. • Conduct preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections. • Use appropriate diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools to identify faults. • Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble defective mechanical components. • Conduct road tests and inspections to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. • Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and parts used. • Ensure all work is completed according to required safety and quality standards. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

Requirements

*EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS* • National Certificate/Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. • Relevant apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Mechanics/Heavy Vehicle Mechanics. • Additional training in diesel engine or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance will be an added advantage. *EXPERIENCE* • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a Truck Mechanic. • Hands-on experience working specifically on Howo Trucks is essential. • Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles. • Strong practical experience in diesel engine diagnosis, servicing, and repairs.
