Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician based in Harare to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure at a new FMCG factory facility. The job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts and repairing machines and equipment.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 2. Class One Journeyman/Trade certificate 3. Proven experience as an electrician preferably in the food processing sector. 4. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems. 5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints. 6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines. 7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
