Description
The Technician will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, fault-finding, commissioning, and repair of Fermel trackless mining equipment to ensure optimal machine availability and safety underground. Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Conduct commissioning and post-repair testing
Maintain accurate service documentation
Provide professional on-site customer support
Requirements
Trade Test (Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic / Millwright / Auto Electrician)
3-5 years’ experience on underground trackless mining equipment
Strong hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience with OEM underground machinery
Valid driver’s licence
Medically fit for underground mining
Willingness to work shifts and rotational rosters
