Description

Implement, maintain and continually improve the ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS in the organisation;Schedule and ensure the conduction of internal audits, legal audits and Management Review Meetings; Ensure timely closure of all audit findings, effective implementation of determined corrective action as well as testing of effectiveness of implemented actions; Investigate all incidents and accidents and ensure implementation of corrective action; Ensure the Organisation is compliant with all applicable legal and other requirements; Schedule and conduct SHEQ trainings and toolbox talk to the Operations staff.

Requirements

Must be a holder of a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or any related field. Must possess 5 'O' levels including Mathematics and English in one sitting. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Proven experience in SHEQ systems development, implementation and maintenance as well as conducting internal and external audits. A valid and clean driver’s licence is mandatory with proven driving experience. Professional certifications in SHEQ (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHEMAC, ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001) as well as fuel industry knowledge are an added advantage.
