Description
Install, replace & refurbish heavy-duty conveyor systems
Splice and handle steel cord, fabric & woven belts
Maintain rollers, tracking, skirting & belt cleaning systems
Operate vulcanising & specialist belt handling equipment
Carry out repairs, fault finding & preventative maintenance
Work closely with supervisors to keep sites safe and production moving
Requirements
Prior relevant conveyor experience in all splicing, repairs, belt change outs, inserts, re-splices, equipment operation and shutdown preparation.
Mechanical trade qualifications and experience preferable.
Well-developed verbal/written communication and interpersonal.
Demonstrated ability to safely manage a variety of tasks and achieve effective and timely outcomes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Actively seek out ideas for continuous improvement.
Have an ability to pass a full pre-employment medical test and drug and alcohol screening.
