Description
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is a statutory body mandated to ensure the provision of a level playing field for safe, reliable and sustainable energy supply through effective regulation. ZERA seeks the services of a highly competent, professional and results oriented individual who can take the organisation to a higher level in the following role:
POSITION: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Reporting directly to the ICT MANAGER Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize server environments (physical and virtual), including Active Directory, Group Policy, and print services.
System Health: Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues, and oversee the data centre.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Advanced Study: A relevant Post-Graduate qualification or specialized
professional certifications (e.g.,
MCSE, VCP, or CCNP) will be considered a distinct advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive ICT experience, specifically within systems administration or infrastructure roles.
Technical Expertise
Infrastructure & Virtualization: Proven proficiency in managing enterprise-grade Server Administration and Virtualization platforms (such as VMware Sphere or Microsoft Hyper-V).
SAP System: Working experience using SAP system
