Heavy duty Truck Mechanic Location: On Site Reporting to: Maintenance Foreman Industry: Mining, Earthmoving & Trucking We are seeking an experienced Diesel Plant Fitter to join our mining operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy-duty equipment including excavators, dump trucks, drill rigs, dozers, front-end loaders, graders, haulage trucks Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and components • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime • Fit and replace parts including hydraulics, fuel systems, and exhausts • Ensure all equipment meets safety and environmental standards • Work both on-site and in workshop environments
