Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Khayah Cement for a suitably qualified and experienced professional for the position of Projects Lead. The role will provide end-to-end technical and project leadership for capital expenditure (CAPEX), infrastructure, plant improvement, rehabilitation and short-term operational projects across the organisation.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Process Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum of 8 years' relevant post-qualification experience in project engineering/project management within heavy manufacturing, cement, mining, construction or a comparable industrial environment.
Demonstrable experience delivering multidisciplinary CAPEX and plant/infrastructure projects from concept, design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.
Strong all-round technical capability with the ability to interrogate engineering designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, contractor proposals, project schedules and budgets across multiple disciplines.
Strong commercial and project management capability, including budgeting, cost control, procurement support, contractor management, risk management and reporting.
Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Professional registration with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) and/or a recognised project management qualification will be an added advantage.
