Kempe Engineering is currently seeking to employ Mechanical Fitters to work in our Brisbane based workshop in Queensland. As part of this role, you will also be expected to work on our clients' sites undertaking maintenance and sustainable capital works on fixed plant. Skills Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to distinguish suitable materials, method and machine settings to complete works effectively Produce finished machines and equipment by fitting / assembling metal parts Inspect, analyze and recording of critical information during mechanical refurbishing process Check parts for suitable fit, purpose and accuracy using measuring equipment Using an array of processes (pressing, cutting, grinding) form metal material and casts to fine tolerances Hydraulic / pneumatic pipe and line maintenance, including threading, bending, cutting processes Perform diagnosis,
