The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, diagnosis, and repair of the company's light and heavy vehicle fleet. Conducting routine services and preventative maintenance across the fleet. Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and related faults and carrying out repairs. Attending to engine, transmission, hydraulic, electrical, and braking system issues. Conducting pre- and post-deployment vehicle inspections and reporting on roadworthiness. Maintaining accurate service records, job cards, and parts/consumables usage. Advising management on vehicle condition, recurring faults, and replacement needs. Responding to breakdowns and, where necessary, attending to vehicles in the field. Ensuring the workshop and tools are kept in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
