Description

We are seeking skilled and innovative Diesel Plant Fitters to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our fleet, with a strong focus on Shacman haulage trucks and other heavy-duty diesel vehicles. Key Responsibilities: • Preventive & corrective maintenance to reduce downtime • Diagnose & repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems • Respond to breakdowns (workshop & on-site) • Conduct inspections for roadworthiness • Maintain accurate job cards & service records

Requirements

National Certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting/Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Journeyman Class 1 qualification, 3-5 years' hands-on experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks, Experience with Shacman trucks is a strong advantage, Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence (Class 2 an advantage)
