Description
Morton Engineering is seeking experienced Boilermakers and 1st Class Welders to join our workshop team in Lytton, Queensland. This is a casual role with the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects in the Trades & Services industry.Fabricating, assembling, and installing metal structures, vessels, pipe and equipment to precise specifications
Interpreting technical drawings, and welding procedures
Performing high-quality welding to industry standards using a variety of welding techniques (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, MMAW, SAW)
Requirements
Formal qualification as a Boilermaker or 1st Class Welder
Extensive experience in a similar role within the Trades & Services industry
Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent welding skills and knowledge of various welding techniques
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong work ethic and a focus on safety
