Description
Agrifoods is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill two Accountant positions, one based in Harare and one in Bulawayo. Key Responsibilities: • Manage general ledger, journals, reconciliations and month-end close processes. • Prepare management accounts and financial reports. • Perform bank, supplier, customer and balance sheet reconciliations. • Monitor accounts payable and receivable. • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
Requirements
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA is an added advantage. • Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. • Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture or a related environment. • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems. • Strong analytical, reporting and reconciliation skills. • High level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial controls.
