ACCOUNTANT

Description

Our client is the automotive industry is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of an Accountant. The incumbent must be knowledgeable in taxation and proficient in systems. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements. • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including journals, ledgers and reconciliations. • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements • Prepare and submit tax returns accurately and on time. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Work with accounting systems to capture transactions, generate reports and maintain accurate financial records. • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities where required. • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. • Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
