Reporting to the General Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Centre, ensuring sound financial management, compliance with statutory requirements, accurate reporting, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost control systems. - Oversee payroll administration, statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSA, ZIMRA), and timely remittances. - Maintain complete and accurate general ledgers, fixed asset registers, and inventory accounts. - Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations. - Prepare for and facilitate internal and external financial audits. - Provide financial advice and insights to senior management to guide operational and strategic decision-making.
