Accountant

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CA(Z), or CIS is an added advantage. - At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the public sector or a statutory body. - Knowledge of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as applicable. - Experience with accounting and financial management systems. - Strong financial analysis and reporting skills. - Budgeting and financial planning. - Knowledge of public finance and Treasury regulations. - High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and report-writing skills. - Good organisational and time management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
